Rocket Piano Review
Rocket Piano has been around for around 5 years now and is one of the most popular Piano Programs available. It’s avaialable as an instant download or as a shipped product in DVD’s, CD’s and workbooks.
The tutor is Ruth Searle who is an award winning classically trained pianist.
Overall Value
There are masses of materials that take you from beginner to advanced Pianist (although I’m at the middle stage at the moment).
The video’s, audio’s and workbooks make this an easy to follow course that simply can’t be beaten on price particularly if you go for the down-loadable version of the course.
Course materials and content are first class in my opinion and you get far more than you would expect for such a low price.

What You Get
I can’t possibly list everything you get in my Rocket Piano Review so I’ll give you some of the features of the program.
Three lesson workbooks taking you from beginner (165 pages), intermediate (65 pages) and advanced (59 pages). These books are at the core of the piano tutorials. The books are professionally put together with good quality diagrams, notes and multimedia indicators.
57 Video Lessons – I found these really helpful. You are regularly referred to these video’s throughout the course, they give you a demonstrations and tips on how to master that piano playing skill. The video’s are straight to the point which I liked.
191 Audio’s – The audio’s let you here what you should be sounding like at each stage of your progress. So you know for definite if you are on the right track.
17 Play Along Jam Tracks – a great idea as they are really good fun. Each track has two versions one with piano and one without so eventually you can be the keyboard player in the band. This was one of the coolest features in my book.
Genre Workbooks – There are two workbooks that focus on a specific type of music. I have only worked through the Jazz one so far. This workbook again had written, audio and videos for each file.
Other Stuff – there is a whole bunch of other cool features inside Rocket Piano as well. These include a computer games that helps you develop your ear for music and one that helps you memorize the keys on your piano (great if your memory is useless like mine). There are other quizzes as well which I found a fun way to track my progress.
There are other books and programs to help you with more intermediate and advanced stuff but I have not got through all of it yet.
I’ve not mentioned everything you get here but if you want to see everything that Rocket Piano has visit the site by Clicking Here.
Who Is It For?
Great for all ages including kids, my daughter is flying through it at the moment. If you are a beginner or intermediate this course is ideal. Although there is some advanced stuff in there if you are this stage I think you would be better with another course.
Bad Stuff
The only thing I didn’t like at the beginning was the amount of materials. It frightened the life out of me. But if you start at the beginning it has a natural flow and it is not nearly as daunting.
Guarantee & Support
Rocket Piano comes with a 60 day no quibble money back guarantee, I guess this shows they have confidence in their product. The guarantee helped me make the decision to buy Rocket Piano as I had bought other courses that were poor and they had no guarantee.
Support is good as you can contact their staff by email and they have an excellent FAQ section. You also get a free piano consultation but I’ve not used mine yet so I can’t tell you how good it is. there is also an online video question and answers section.

My View
I think it’s absolutely incredible value and can’t be beaten in terms of value for your dollar.
The course teaches you to read and play music but even better it teaches you to play by ear and that is something that really appeals to me personally.
The course follows logical steps and you can track your progress as you go. You learn about proper fingering technique, chords, intervals and all the other technical aspects you would expect.
But the biggest strength of Rocket Piano is they have made it fun! Like most guys I often don’t see things through but I did with Rocket Piano because it was fun and you see quick progress.
If you starting out learning Piano I can’t recommend Rocket piano highly enough.
